Hougang Sheng Hong Student Care Centre is a community project established by the Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services and jointly supported by the North East Community Development Council. The centre opened on 9 June 2002 officially.
We provide day care programme for school going children from P1 to P6 (age 7 to 14)
This include:
• A safe, clean and nurturing environment for learning and play.
• Structured activities for children’s development
• Guidance and time for school wok completion
• Well balanced and tasty food for the children
Programme
• We provide guided study time for the students as well as play for the balance of the total learning and development.
• We organise activities which enhance children’s physical, intellectual , social and emotional development.
• We instill in children a strong sense of moral values, self reliance and responsibility.
• We organise events like Language & Creativity Development, Teamwork & Self Confidence, Outings, Theme based Holiday Programmes and Families activties.
• We work with adults volunteers
• Community involvement project students.
• Ad-hoc Additional Programmes
