Founded in 1998, HOPE worldwide (Singapore) or HOPEwwS is a charity with IPC status and an active family life and health education provider, serving the local community through impactful programmes and services for families, youths and elderly, regardless of their race and religion.
We work very closely with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), the National Council for Social Service (NCSS), community partners, donors, volunteers and staff to bring hope and change the lives of the poor, disadvantaged and emotionally suffering in Singapore.
We deliver family life and health education talks and workshops, conduct skills empowerment initiatives, organize community outreach/volunteerism activities, and provide other support services such as counselling.
HOPEwwS serves about 3,000 people and engages around 2,000 volunteers annually. HOPEwwS also extends thought leadership to other HOPE worldwide affiliates in Asia, specifically in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia & Japan.
Further to our local outreach, we support the global disaster response efforts as well as health and social services of our international affiliate, HOPE worldwide, and its network in over 70 countries. Today, HOPEww serves more than 1.5 million people annually on every inhabited continent, made possible through the extensive support of its partners, donors, volunteers and the International Churches of Christ.
