Services
Arc aims to provide a sanctuary for the children’s continuing education, safety and bonding. Our care extends to the family and siblings as well, creating a haven of respite and comfort.
a. An environment outside the hospital that is hygienic for the welfare of the child receiving treatment
b. Support foreign families with little or no English/Mandarin seeking treatment for their child during their stay here in Singapore
c. Daily aspects of care for the child receiving treatment and their families by experienced parents of childhood cancer survivors
d. Emotional and moral support for parents in their care for the child
Admission
Arc caters for children between 3 to 18 years with cancer and other life-threatening conditions. Younger or older children may be reviewed on a case by case consideration.
We accept children regardless of religion, race or culture.
To qualify for admission, the child will need a letter of reference from his/her doctor, specialist or social worker. This is necessary to ensure close collaboration with the medical/care team to provide relevant support.
Enrolment
There is no Enrolment Fee.
Arc has a daily charge of $10 per child to cover meals and transport.
This daily rate is highly subsidized and dependent on public donation to support the families.
The same rate is applicable to any accompanying parent or sibling.
This fee will be waived for families with financial difficulties as recommended by their social worker.
