365 Cancer Prevention Society (‘365 CPS’) is founded in 2003 by a famous Love 97.2FM radio host, Mr. Billy Wang, who was previously diagnosed with leukemia.
Today, Mr Eric Chiam, our President, (Senior Pastor of Church Of Our Saviour, Mandarin Service) is leading the organisation with a team of committee members and full-time staffs towards our mission statement of becoming “a society serving the community to prevent and fight cancer through holistic health- (Body, Mind, Spirit) with loving care and a passion for life.”
‘365 CPS’ is a non-profit organisation which depends on donations from public in order to continue our services to cancer patients & the community. It is also a recognized Institution of Public Character (IPC) under National Council of Social Service (NCSS) in Singapore.
To “prevent cancer”, we educate the community the importance of eating healthy, exercising and leading a well-balanced lifestyle. Public education activities such as Lymphatic-Detox exercise are conducted island-wide, health talks are given in schools, community centres, churches, and also other countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, China etc.
To “fight cancer”, we stand alongside our patients & family members in fighting cancer battles. We fight cancer with the help of food therapy classes, counselling & management of negative emotions, educate the patients on how to strengthen their immune system and promote emotional well being. One of our major services is patient care services at home, hospital & hospice, and also providing the low income patients financially in their daily needs.
